Evangel University of the Assemblies of God

The all-time winningest volleyball coach in Evangel history, Mary Whitehead has accumulated 521 victories and a .621 winning percentage as she enters her 25th year. Currently 14th on the NAIA active wins list, Whitehead has helped elevate Evangel as the 21st winningest volleyball program all-time in the NAIA with 984 wins. 

During her career, Evangel has reached the conference tournament every season and made three NAIA national tournament appearances and two NAIA Region V tournaments. She was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Coach of the Year twice, first in 2009 and again in 2014.  

She has coached three conference players of the year, two liberos of the year, four defensive players of the year, and one newcomer of the year. She has coached 16 All-Americans and 25 All-Regional athletes including 16 first-team selections.
