The 2007 Heart of America Conference Player of the Year, Julia Thrasher finished an incredible career at Evangel on the softball diamond.

Thrasher was also a First Team All-American and All-Region selection in 2007 as she earned two all-conference honors in just two seasons with the Crusaders. During the 2007 season, she set the single-season record for RBIs with 65 while finishing with the second-most home runs belting 15.

She finished her career as a .404 hitter ranking fifth all-time, as her 24 home runs rank third-most in Evangel history. She also set the school record for most hits in a game when she tallied five hits on May 12, 2006, against MidAmerica Nazarene.

Thrasher helped the Crusaders to back-to-back 30-win seasons including the program's only trip to the NAIA Softball World Series in 2006. Evangel also won the Heart Conference Regular season championship both seasons and the conference tournament title in 2007.
