MARSHALL, Mo. – The Evangel volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win Friday night at Missouri Valley College in Heart Conference action.

The Crusaders rallied after a slow start to post a .382 hitting percentage in the third set and close out the Vikings.

Offensively, Tori Lowry led the way with 12 kills and a .267 hitting percentage while adding eight digs. Victoria Fishback finished with 19 assists and McKenna Miller tallied 13 in the win for Evangel.

The Evangel defense was solid helping aid in the win as Gabby Massengale finished with five blocks and Daisy Eklund chipped in with three blocks. Eryn Russell finished with 11 digs.

Evangel returns home and takes a step outside of conference play Tuesday for a non-conference matchup with William Woods. First serve from the Ashcroft Center is scheduled for 7 p.m.
