Springfield, Mo. – The ninth ranked Evangel volleyball team improved to 22-0 and 5-0 in the Heart of America conference Tuesday night with a 3-0 (25, 15, 25-18, 25-11) win against Missouri Valley. 

Junior Jackie Fugate led the Crusaders with 10 kills and three blocks while junior Morgan Kensinger added five blocks.  Senior Morgan Smith had 21 digs and senior Maddie Baumann added 15 assists.  Seniors Micah Guiot and Haley Watson each had nine kills in the win. 

The loss dropped Missouri Valley to 18-6 and 2-2 in the conference. 

The Crusaders are in action again Thursday when they travel to face Peru State in a Heart of America contest.  Game time is noon Thursday in Peru, Nebraksa.
