KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Valor faced off against No. 4 Park on Saturday afternoon. While EU fought hard, Park showed why they had won 15 straight games and moved their streak to 16, as the Valor fell, 3-0.
In the first set, the Pirates played well and the Valor couldn't match their attack. Park showed good attacking, taking the first set 25-14. The second set showed Park's efficient offense as they swung a game high .643 to EU's .261. The Valor could not slow down the Pirates and dropped the set, 25-12. In the third set, EU would continue to fight hard and make the final set competitive. Down 20-19, Park would go on a final run and finish the game with the win, 25-21.
