SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Volleyball concluded the Evangel Quad on Saturday (Sept. 6) afternoon, taking on the Mission Patriots, in search of their 10th win of the season. Evangel would dominate from start to finish in all three sets, taking a sweep of the Springfield opponent on Saturday.

EU and Mission traded the lead to open set one, but a 14-1 Valor run, fueled by four Brooklyn Claxton service aces gave EU a 22-10 lead. Mission closed the set out on a run, but the damage had been done in Evangel's 25-17 win in set one.

Tied at 10 in set two, another mid set run proved to be the difference, as EU took an 18-11 lead on an 8-1 run. Vivianna Sanchez, Sharayah Seymour, and Bella Wakley closed out the set against the Patriots, giving the Valor a 25-18 win.

The Valor never trailed in set three, as Mission struggled offensively, swinging -.146 in the period. Evangel cruised to victory in the end, 25-15, their biggest set score differential of the afternoon.
