SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball hits the road on Tuesday (Sept. 9) evening, traveling to Columbia, Mo., to take on Stephens College at 6:00 p.m., looking to move their winning streak to four games.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel went 3-0 at their annual Quad, sweeping Bethany and Mission, while taking a five-set battle with Texas A&M-Texarkana.

Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 126 kills so far this season, averaging 2.86 per set.

Junior Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 211 this year.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 65 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.48 per set, which is fifth in the nation.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 232 total digs to lead the team, averaging 5.27 per set.

In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads Stephens, 8-7-2, taking a 3-0 sweep last season at home.
LOOKING AHEAD
Valor Volleyball travels to St. Louis, Mo., to take part in the UHSP Classic on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 12/13), taking on Georgetown (Ky.), UHSP, Cottey, and Freed-Hardeman.
