SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 25th ranked Evangel Softball program travels south to Branson on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 27/28) afternoon, taking part in the Showtime Classic at the Branson RecPlex.
First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., for Friday, with the Valor taking on #9 USAO and Mission. Saturday's first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. as EU takes on Greenville and (RV) Morningside.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel leads Mission, 3-0, Greenville, 2-0, as well as Morningside, 3-1, but trails USAO, 3-4, in the all-time series. Below are the most recent results against each school.

Naomi Perkins currently leads Evangel in batting average by starters, swinging a .444 bat while also stealing ten bases and driving in 12 runs.

Maddy Meierer leads Evangel with a 1.11 ERA, having gone 5-1 so far this season from the circle with 36 strikeouts.
