SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 25th ranked Evangel Softball program returns to action on Tuesday (Feb. 24) afternoon, taking on the Williams Baptist Eagles in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., for Tuesday's doubleheader, as Evangel looks to bounce back after falling in their last matchup.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel and Williams Baptist match up for the 13th time all-time, as they currently sit tied all-time, 6-6. Evangel and Williams Baptist split their last doubleheader in March 2024, a 1-0 win and a 4-1 loss.
OPENING STORYLINES

Naomi Perkins currently leads Evangel in batting average, swinging a .467 bat while also stealing nine bases and driving in five runs.

Maddy Meierer and Madi Bentley have both opened the season 4-1 with Meierer boasting a 0.90 ERA and 31 strikeouts and Bentley at 4.03 and 24 strikeouts.

The Valor offense currently bats .322 this season as a team with five home runs and 56 RBIs.

Kenna Mayfield (.429), Audrey Carlton (.333), and Karli Facklam (.300) all have batting averages over .300, while Natalie Morgan and Carlton lead the Valor in RBIs (11).
