SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Softball returns to action this Saturday (Mar. 1) afternoon, hosting the Central Baptist College Mustangs in their home opener.
The Valor will take the field for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, as Evangel looks to hit double digits in the win column.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel leads the all-time matchup with Central Baptist, 7-5, and most recently matched up with the Mustangs last season in Conway, taking a 9-8 and 5-4 win.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel is coming off a 4-0 weekend at the Turf's Up Classic, after allowing their opponents just one run the entire weekend.
