2025 SOFTBALL SCHEDULE

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Head softball coach Jay Halbrook announced a 50-game schedule for his tenth season leading the Valor in 2025 on Wednesday.

The 2025 season includes 15 home games and four games against opponents who were featured in the first top-25 poll of the year, as well as a matchup against an NCAA D-II opponent.

Evangel opens play with a four game series in San Antonio, Texas against the defending national champions and #1 ranked, Our Lady of the Lake Saints, on Jan. 31/Feb. 1. The Valor will then compete in the Branson Bash, hosted at the Branson RecPlex. Evangel will take on Saint Mary of the Woods and Olivet Nazarene on Feb. 7 before taking on Judson and Calumet-Saint Joseph the following day. Evangel then competes in the Kansas City Invite, taking on former HAAC foe, MidAmerica Nazarene, and Columbia on Feb. 14, before taking on Cottey and Mayville State on Feb. 15. The Valor return to the Branson RecPlex on Feb. 21st and 22nd, taking on Hannibal-LaGrange and UHSP (Feb. 21) as well as William Woods and Mission (Feb. 22) at Turf's Up Branson. 

Evangel competes in their first home game of the season on March 1st, taking on Central Baptist, before traveling to take on Williams Baptist on March 4th. The Valor compete in their last Branson RecPlex tournament from March 7th-9th, taking on Doane and Hastings on the 7th, Mount Marty and Culver-Stockton on the 8th, and finishing with NCAA D-II opponent Minot State on the 9th. Evangel opens conference play at home on March 11th, hosting Southwestern, before traveling to Bethany on March 15th. The Valor host both Ottawa (Mar. 19) and York (Mar. 22) before concluding March with a pair of road opponents, Friends (Mar. 25) and Tabor (Mar. 29).

Evangel opens the month of April at home for a pair of doubleheaders against Oklahoma Wesleyan and Sterling College (April 2/5), before traveling to Avila and McPherson on April 8th and 12th. The Valor conclude their home conference play by taking on Bethel (April 16) and Kansas Wesleyan (April 19), before ending conference play on the road against Saint Mary on April 23rd.

The KCAC Conference Tournament is hosted at a location to be announced from April 30th to May 2nd, as the Valor look to defend their conference title.
