SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Skylar Adams, Julia Rust, Macy Kopp, Ethan Montgomery, Joshua Rust, and Ethan Smith have all qualified for the NAIA XC National Championships and are set to run on Friday (Nov. 22) morning in Columbia, Missouri.
The Valor men are set to run at 10:30 a.m, followed by the women who are set to compete at 11:30 a.m. at Gans Creek.
STORYLINES

Skylar Adams led the Valor in their last meet at the KCAC XC Conference Championships, running a time of 24:02.31 to place 15th overall.

Joshua Rust ran a 25:40.68 8k to place 9th overall at the Conference Championships.

The Valor women ran a 5k at Gans Creek back in October, 1k less than they will run on Friday. Julia Rust led the Valor with a time of 19:01.72 last month.

Evangel's men also competed at Gans Creek last month, led by Joshua Rust, who ran a 26:15.10 on a 8k course.

This is Ethan Montgomery, Joshua Rust, Macy Kopp, and Skylar Adams' second appearance in the national championship race, while both freshmen Julia Rust and Ethan Smith compete for the first time.

This is the third consecutive year of Evangel having an XC national qualifier.
