WICHITA, Kan. – After a pair of strong performances from Emily Harris and Ethan Montgomery at the Southern Stampede in Joplin, both Valor athletes were honored by being named the KCAC XC Runners of the Week for the second consecutive meet.

Emily Harris | Sr. | Nixa, Mo.

• Emily ran a 19:34 5K event on Saturday, placing 64th overall in a large field of primarily NCAA D-II schools. 

Ethan Montgomery | Sr. | Willard, Mo.

• Montgomery ran a 25:05 8k event on Saturday, earning a 24th place finish.

• Broke the Evangel school record, previously held by Shane Burns.
