KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the preseason edition of the coaches Top 25 rating released on Thursday, Valor Women's Cross Country opened the year receiving votes, one of just three teams in the KCAC to be part of the poll.

The Valor are currently sitting at RV, tied with 12 other teams who are also receiving votes.

Evangel is joined by Saint Mary, who is ranked #16, and Kansas Wesleyan, who is ranked #18 in the nation.

Valor XC opens the season on September 11th at home in the Queen City After Dark meet.
