WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Evangel men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Warrensburg on Saturday, looking to build off their strong first meet.
The Valor competed well, with Joshua Leazer highlighting the meet by hitting the National "B" standard, qualifying for NAIA Indoor Nationals.
HIGHLIGHTS

Joshua Leazer placed first overall in the triple jump, hitting a mark of 14.21 meters, hitting the national "B" standard and qualifying Leazer for NAIA Indoor Track and Field Nationals. Leazer also placed fourth in the long jump with a jump of 6.37m.

Skylar Adams, Emily Harris, Danielle Caldarelli, and Macy Kopp ran in the 4x800m relay, scoring a first place finish (10:20.94) and breaking the current Evangel Indoor record.

Delaney Weimer ran a 7.80 second 60 meter dash on Saturday, placing first overall. Weimer also recorded a fifth place finish in the 200m dash, running a 26.831 second 200 meter dash.

Skylar Adams also recorded a 5:27.99 one mile run, placing second overall.

The men's 4x800 meter relay team (Ethan Montgomery, Campbell Nichols, Isaiah Flores, Eric Patterson) ran a 8:46.48 on Saturday, ranking second overall.

Liam Boivin recorded a 8.50 second 60m hurdle on Saturday, placing second overall. Boivin also recorded a third place finish in the 400m dash, running in 53.33 seconds.

Campbell Nichols ran a 2:02.91 800m run on Saturday, placing third.

Jacee Wilson's 10.82 meter triple jump put her in fourth overall on Saturday.

Matthew Kellerstrass ran a 6.99 60m dash, ranking fourth overall.

After a 9:32.02 3000m run, Kaiden McCormick was awarded a fourth place finish.

Macy Kopp ran a 5:27.99 mile run on Saturday, placing fifth overall.

Evan Espinoza rounded out top five finishes on Saturday, running a 9:34.21 3000m run.
