Crusaders back on road to face Central Methodist: Evangel is on the road for a second straight week as they travel to Central Methodist Saturday afternoon. 

The Crusaders are 3-4 and 0-1 in the Heart of America conference. Evangel lost last week at MidAmerica Nazarene 31-14 in their first division game of the season. 

Central Methodist is 2-5 and 0-1 in the league. The Eagles lost their divisional opener last week at Missouri Valley 35-33. CMU has lost their last two straight. Their last win came Sept. 26 at Graceland with a 21-20 win over the Yellowjackets. 

Both teams enter the game tied for fourth in the Southern Division with an 0-1 start in the division. Baker, Missouri Valley and MidAmerica Nazarene are off to 1-0 starts in the division. 

Evangel leads the all-time series against Central Methodist 25-5. The series has been split 3-3 over the last six years and Evangel won last year's game 34-10 over the Eagles in Springfield.
