SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Football student athletes Zach Myers, Jaren Foster, and Dominic Dawson were honored on Tuesday by being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the 2025 season.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

All three athletes had to meet several requirements to garner the honor, including performing in a specific percentage of Evangel's contests, having a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and being a key contributor who had significant statistics that helped the team. All three athletes have advanced to be considered as a CSC Academic All-American, with voting currently open and the announcement coming on January 27th.
