Crusaders return home to face Central Methodist: The Crusaders are home Saturday to face Central Methodist in a Heart of America conference game at JFK Stadium.

Evangel is coming off of a loss last week at Culver-Stockton falling 24-19 and have lost back-to-back for the first time this year. The Crusaders are 4-4 and 2-4 in the conference.

Central Methodist is 4-4 and 3-3 in the league. The Eagles lost 41-10 to 10th ranked Missouri Valley last week and have also lost two straight. Central Methodist won their first three of their first four conference games including a 24-18 win over 24th ranked MidAmerica Nazarene on Oct. 4. One of the Central Methodist's four losses came against NCAA-I opponent Southern University, 41-10, in New Orleans on Sept. 6.

Evangel leads the all-time series 24-5 but lost last year's game 44-14 in Fayette and the Eagles have gone 3-2 against the Crusaders since 2009.
