Crusaders at Culver-Stockton: Evangel is back on the road for a Saturday game at Culver-Stockton.
The Crusaders are 4-3 and 2-3 in the Heart of America conference. Evangel lost last week to MidAmerica Nazarene 54-7 in a game marred by nine Crusaders turnovers. The game is Evangel fourth road game this season and they are 2-1 away from home so far this year.
Culver-Stockton is 2-5 and 0-5 in the conference. The Wildcats started the season 2-0 but have lost five straight, all in the HAAC. Culver-Stockton lost at 14th ranked Missouri Valley 63-15 but led 9-6 late in the first half and trailed only 14-9 at halftime before the Vikings pulled away. The Wildcats opened the year with a 41-14 win over MacMurray (Ill.) and a 57-7 win over St. Mary (Kan.) in the HAAC-KCAC Series.
Evangel is 25-3 all-time against Culver-Stockton and won last year's game 34-28 in Springfield. The Crusaders have won six straight against the Wildcats dating back to 2007.
