SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Five Evangel Valor baseball athletes were honored last week by being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the 2025-26 season.
Senior Quentin Edwards was joined by juniors Heath Perry, Justus Cherrico, Cade Beshore, as well as sophomore Brayden Epperhart as honorees on the team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
These athletes had to meet several requirements to garner the honor, including competing in at least 75% of games played (or at least 17 appearances pitching), having a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and being at least a sophomore in academic status.
Quentin Edwards and Justus Cherrico advanced to the CSC All-American ballot, with voting taking place next week. All-American honorees will be announced on Tuesday, June 23rd.
