SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Ten Evangel Valor cross country and track and field athletes were honored on Tuesday by being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the 2025 season.
Seniors Skylar Adams, Delaney Weimer, Dakota Spencer, Joseph Sylvester, and Tyler White joined juniors Emily Harris, Taylor Collins, and Alex Richardson, as well as sophomores Morgan Lilly and Benjamin Ipock in earning the academic honor.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Cross Country and Track and Field Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the course or track and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
These athletes had to meet several requirements to garner the honor, including placing in the top 25 of their conference meet in their respective events, having a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and being at least a sophomore in academic status.
