WICHITA, Kan. – After competing in the MSSU Lion Open on Saturday, Evangel Track and Field athlete April Phillips earned KCAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her performance.

April Phillips | Jr. | Lee's Summit, Mo. | Triple Jump / High Jump

• Recorded a top high jump of 1.66 meters and a top triple jump of 11.63 meters.

• Hit the NAIA "B" standard in both events, qualifying for nationals in both events.
