GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Valor Track and Field closed out the indoor season from Thursday-Saturday (Feb. 27-Mar. 1), looking to earn All-Americans and potential national champions at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships.

Jacob Gillies and Delaney Miller highlighted the meet for Evangel, both placing runner-up in the high jump national championship. Miller and Autumn Nold (600m Run) both earned All-American honors, the first Evangel women to earn the honor for indoor track and field. Gillies and Devyn Wright (400m Run) also earned All-American honors for the men. 

Evangel earned four All-American's, broke seven school records, and both teams finished in the top 25 in the nation, in one of, if not the best single season in Evangel Indoor Track and Field history. For full results, see below.

Women's 4x800 Meter Relay (Adams, Adriana McGregor, Macy Kopp, Emily Harris) - 13th Place (9:23.93)

Trenton Braswell - 19th Place in Men's Shotput (15.52 meters)

Devyn Wright - 20th Place in Men's 200 Meter Run (22.23 seconds)

Women's 4x400 Meter Relay (Delaney Weimer, Liberty Wiles, Taylor Collins, Nold) - 21st Place (3:58.68)

Evangel will take two weeks off to prepare for their outdoor season opener, taking place on March 15th in Fayette, Mo., at the CMU Open.
