LINCOLN, Neb. – Valor Track and Field returned to action on Friday, Dec. 12th, taking part in the Husker Holiday Classic before taking a month off for Christmas break.

Miller and Phillips led the Valor on Friday, as Miller hit a high jump of 1.70 meters to hit the "A" standard and Phillips recorded a triple jump of 11.74 meters to hit the "B" standard. Autumn Nold almost hit the "B" standard in the 400 meter dash, running a 57.54, less than a tenth of a second off the qualifying mark (57.45).

On the men's side, Peyton Ligon led EU by also just falling short of the "B" standard in the high jump, recording a top jump of 2.03 meters (2.04 is the standard).
