Results
WICHITA, Kan. – Valor Track and Field took part in the KCAC Indoor Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 13/14), looking to earn national qualifiers while competing for a conference title in Wichita.
Both teams placed fourth overall at the meet, with the women scoring 118.5 points and the men scoring 82 points.
After several conversions on an indoor track, the Valor finished the conference meet with several new qualifiers. Morgan Lilly qualified in the 60 meter and 200 meter dash, Gabrielle Pitts qualified in the long jump, the men's 4x800 meter relay and women's 4x400 meter relay also qualified, wrapped up by Ethan Smith, who qualified in the 1000 meter run.
Morgan Lilly (200m), Liberty Wiles (60m hurdles), Gabrielle Pitts (Long Jump), Men's 4x800, and the women's 4x400 relay team all broke school records at the conference meet.
