Full AP All-American List
OMAHA, Neb. – On Friday (Dec. 19) afternoon, Zach Myers was again recognized for his exceptional 2025 season, as the graduate defensive end was named as a first-team AP All-American by the Associated Press (AP) for the second time in his career. (First time earning 1st team honors)
Myers, a Lee's Summit, Mo., native, concluded his Evangel career with a strong showing, earning KCAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Zach finished with 15 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks, leading the KCAC in both marks. Myers also finished the year with 52 total tackles. This is Zach's second consecutive first team All-American honor, earning the award from the AFCA/NAIA list.
Evangel concluded its fall season with a 9-3 overall record, winning the KCAC Kessinger Division and earning their second NAIA postseason berth in the last three seasons.
