KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The USC (United Soccer Coaches) recognized several College Team Academic Award winners for their exemplary performance in the classroom during last year's 2025 season. Among the list of teams was Evangel Women's Soccer, who earned their tenth consecutive academic award from the USC since the program began in 2015.

The Valor Women's Soccer team earned a 3.25 team GPA in 2025-26, earning several individual and team academic awards throughout last season. Coach Bruce Deaton and his team have earned the academic award from the USC in every season since Deaton began the program in 2015.

Valor Women's Soccer opens their season at home on Friday, August 21st at 7:30 p.m. against Mission University. For a link to the academic award article, click here.
