HILLSBORO, Kan. – Valor Women's Soccer opened KCAC quarterfinal play on Wednesday (Nov. 5) evening, looking to take a win over the fourth seeded Tabor College Bluejays. After taking a 1-0 win over the same squad on Saturday, the result proved to be different on Wednesday, as the Bluejays were able to find a trio of opportunities, forcing EU to fall, 3-0, closing out their 2025 season.
Ava Campbell opened the game by putting a shot high of the goal, before Tabor took a 1-0 lead on just their third shot of the game, just over seven minutes into play. McKenzie Calhoun and Anna Crain both put shots on goal that the Bluejays keeper saved, keeping EU off the scoreboard. At the 23:54 mark, Tabor added their second goal of the evening and would score a third just before the halftime break, as EU trailed 3-0.
Anna Crain and Rylie Kidman would both put shots on goal in the second half, but none of the chances would find the back of the net, as EU ultimately fell, 3-0, in fulltime, closing out their 2025 campaign.

QUOTABLE
"Tonight, Tabor converted a couple of key chances and that was truly the difference. I am so proud of the season these ladies had - from the beginning I felt this was likely one of the best teams we had and the ladies showed that throughout the season," Women's Soccer Head Coach Bruce Deaton stated. "I can't thank the seven amazing seniors for the incredible impact they have had on this program - they have left this team in a great place and I look forward to what our younger players can build onto this!! Both the present and the future of EUWSOC is bright!! I'm so very proud of these ladies!"Â
