SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Men's and Women's Golf returned home on Monday and Tuesday, hosting several schools at the Evangel Spring Invitational at Rivercut Golf Course.

The men competed well at the meet, using an exceptional round three score of +8, the second best team score in a single round at the meet, to finish first overall. Thomas Bolin led the Valor with an overall score of E to tie for first overall with Charlie Mooney, a competitor from NCAA D-I Oral Roberts, while Chance Wilhite finished tied for fourth overall with a score of +10.

The women finished the meet in second overall, beating out KCAC foe Friends as well as NAIA Central Baptist, showing a 14-stroke improvement in their final round of play. Catherine Rhoads placed fifth overall, shooting +21, with a second round low of +10. Lillie Mannering finished in 10th, shooting +30 after a consistent pair of rounds shooting +15.
