NORTH NEWTON, Kan. – Valor Men's and Women's Golf took part in the Bethel Spring Invite on Saturday and Sunday (Mar. 28/29), looking to compete well in a field full of NAIA competition.Â
The men competed well at the meet, falling three strokes shy of placing second overall, finishing in fourth behind Doane and Hesston. Thomas Bolin led the Valor with an overall score of +12 to tie for 12th overall, with Chance Wilhite just one stroke behind in 14th, with a score of +13.
The women also finished the meet in fourth overall, beating out Southwestern Christian and Dakota Wesleyan. Catherine Rhoads tied for 5th overall, shooting +25, with a first round low of +11. Sophie Nall finished eight strokes behind Rhoads, using a +33 to tie for 17th overall.
