SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Soccer looks to build off their first conference win of the season on Saturday (Sept. 27) afternoon, taking on Kansas Wesleyan at 2:30 p.m.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Valor Men's Soccer defeated Avila on Wednesday night, 3-0.

• Junior Caleb Kuchta leads Evangel with five goals scored so far this season.

• Juyong Kim remains the team leader in assists, currently with three on the season. Kim also scored the game winning goal on Wednesday night, his second consecutive game with a score.

• Davide Marzoli has allowed just 0.75 goals per game and has recorded 28 saves so far this season as EU's goalkeeper.

• Evangel and Kansas Wesleyan match up for the third time in program history on Saturday, with both teams tied in the series. Last season, Evangel was victorious on the road, 2-1, with Kuchta and Kim scoring both EU goals.

LOOKING AHEAD 

Evangel travels to Lindsborg, Kansas, on Saturday (Oct. 4) evening, taking on the Bethany Swedes at 7:30 p.m.
