NEWTON, Kan. – Valor Golf traveled to Newton, Kansas, on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 22/23) to compete at the Central Plains Invitational, hosted by Kansas Wesleyan. The men's team placed fourth overall behind a fifth place finish from Thomas Bolin, while the women placed sixth, paced by a 15th place finish from Sophie Nall.
Thomas Bolin (tied fifth) shot a 215 (-1) through Evangel's three round meet, leading the charge, while Chance Wilhite (tied 14th) shot a 222 (+6) and Ben Roche (tied 16th) shot a 223 (+7) to round out top three finishes for EU.
Sophie Nall (15th) shot a 164 (+20) over two rounds to lead the Valor women, while Catherine Rhoads (tied 17th) shot 166 (+22) and Lillie Mannering (tied 27th) shot 177 (+33) to round out the women's top three finishes.
