KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the eighth edition of the Coaches Top 25 rating released on Monday, Valor Football jumped a spot to move up to #23 overall.

Evangel is coming off a road win over Tabor, 27-14, and has earned road wins against Avila, Saint Mary and #14 Southwestern, as well as home wins against (RV) Kansas Wesleyan, Sterling, and Ottawa.

In the KCAC, Friends remained #4 in the nation, while McPherson moved up to 18th after a road win over now ranked #25 Southwestern.

Valor Football returns home to take on the Bethel College Threshers at 1:00 p.m., for Military Appreciation Day in Nixa.
