WICHITA, Kan. – The KCAC announced the All-Conference Men's Soccer teams on Tuesday (Nov. 11) morning. For the second consecutive season, Valor Men's Soccer earned a trio of players on the list, as defender Akari Sydney, midfielder Andrea Fincato, and forward Hayes Van Breusegen were all awarded honorable mention honors.
Valor senior Akari Sydney was a key piece to Evangel's success this season, starting in 16 matches this season. Sydney helped anchor a backline defense that allowed just 1.17 goals per contest and also added an assist this season in a match with Avila.
A senior, Andrea Fincato, assisted the Valor offense this season, scoring four goals while also passing off two assists, the second most on the Valor squad. Fincato's honor in 2025 is his second consecutive season earning All-KCAC honors.
Rounding out honorees was freshman Hayes Van Breusegen. Hayes competed in 17 games this season, and was a clear offensive catalyst for Evangel, scoring a team high eight goals, while also passing off a pair of assists from the forward position. Hayes' 18 points this season broke the school record for points in a season, previously 17, set by Kyler Moore in 2016.
The Valor finished the season with a record of 8-5-5, making the postseason for the first time in Evangel Men's Soccer history.
