SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Soccer returns to action on Saturday (Nov. 1) night, taking on the Tabor College Bluejays at 7:30 p.m., looking to solidify a spot in the conference tournament.
OPENING STORYLINES

Valor Men's Soccer took a 4-2 victory over Saint Mary on Wednesday night, dominating from the start to finish of the game.

Freshman Hayes Van Breusegen leads Evangel with seven goals scored so far this season.

Juyong Kim, Vasco Goncalves, and Ruben Gonzalez are tied for the team lead in assists, all with three so far this year.

Davide Marzoli has allowed just 0.91 goals per game and has recorded 65 saves so far this season as EU's goalkeeper.

Currently, Evangel is seventh in the conference while Tabor is fifth. Only eight teams make the conference tournament. The Valor could finish as high as 5th in conference and as low as ninth, just outside of the tournament field.

Evangel and Tabor match up for the third time in program history (0-1-1) on Saturday, with EU falling 0-1 last season at home.
LOOKING AHEAD
Evangel will await results and see if they did enough to clinch a spot in the KCAC Conference Tournament. Quarterfinals are set for Tuesday (Nov. 4) with locations and start times to be announced.
