SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Soccer travels to Lindsborg, Kan., on Saturday (Oct. 4) night, taking on the Bethany College Swedes in a primetime matchup, as the Valor aim to earn their sixth win of the season.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Valor Men's Soccer tied with Kansas Wesleyan last Saturday in a tightly contested matchup, 0-0.

• Junior Caleb Kuchta leads Evangel with five goals scored so far this season, tied for fifth overall in the KCAC.

• Juyong Kim remains the team leader in assists, currently with three on the season, which is tied for fifth in the conference rankings.

• Davide Marzoli has allowed just 0.65 goals per game and has recorded 32 saves so far this season as EU's goalkeeper. Marzoli is second in the conference in goals against and save percentage, allowing a score on just 13.5% of shots on goal. (Conference leader allows 10%).

• Evangel and Bethany match up for the fifth time in program history on Saturday, with both teams tied in the series, 2-2. Last season, Evangel was victorious on the road, 3-0, with Andrea Fincato scoring a goal in the win.

Evangel takes on the Ottawa Braves at 7:30 p.m. in Ottawa, Kan., on Wednesday (Oct. 8) evening.
