KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the preseason edition of the Coaches Top 25 rating released on Wednesday, Valor Women's Basketball opened the season receiving votes, currently at #38 in the nation.

Evangel was chosen to finish first overall in the KCAC Coaches Poll and third overall in the conference media poll.

In the KCAC, Friends is also receiving votes, currently sitting tied for 46th overall.

Evangel Women's Basketball opens their season at home next Thursday, Oct. 30th, at 5:30 p.m. against Crowley's Ridge College.
