SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Men's Soccer hits the road on Wednesday (Oct. 22) evening to take on the Friends Falcons at 5:00 p.m. in Wichita, Kansas.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Valor Men's Soccer fell in a heartbreaker on Friday to Sterling, 2-1, missing several starters in the loss.

• Junior Caleb Kuchta and freshman Hayes Van Breusegen lead Evangel with five goals scored so far this season.

• Juyong Kim, Ruben Gonzalez, and Vasco Goncalves are tied for the team lead in assists, all with three so far this year.

• Davide Marzoli has allowed just under a goal per game and has recorded 59 saves so far this season as EU's goalkeeper.

• Evangel and Friends match up for the third time in program history on Wednesday, with Evangel trailing 0-1-1 in the series. Last season, Evangel fell 2-1 on the road.

LOOKING AHEAD 

Evangel returns home on Saturday (Oct. 25) afternoon at 2:30 p.m., taking on the Bethel College Threshers for Senior and Alumni Day.
