DODGE CITY, Kan. – Evangel Golf took part in the KCAC Match Play on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 20/21), looking to compete against conference opponents and shape up for their 2026 spring season.

After placement rounds, the Valor men earned the five seed, taking on eighth seeded Oklahoma Wesleyan. Dominant play all around including wins from all five golfers gave EU a 5-0 sweep of the Eagles in round one.

In the final round, Evangel took on the number six seeded Braves of Ottawa. Evangel again competed well, dropping just one matchup, in a 4-1 win, taking fifth place overall at the event.

The Valor women earned the 2nd seed in placement rounds, taking on a tough Friends squad in the first round. Lillie Mannering, Catherine Rhoads, and Sophie Nall all earned wins to take a 3-2 victory over the Falcons, advancing to the championship matchup.

EU faced off with top seeded Kansas Wesleyan in the final match of the meet, where Cally Gibson earned Evangel's lone win of the round, ultimately falling 3.5 to 1.5, after Lillie Mannering earned a tie with her opponent.
