SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Soccer has a quick turnaround, traveling to Sterling, Kansas, on Friday (Oct. 17) afternoon at 1:00 p.m., taking on the Sterling College Warriors.

The Valor defeated Southwestern on Wednesday, 2-0, with Madison Villaronga earning her first clean sheet as the Valor defense shutout Southwestern.

Evangel is led offensively by Amaura Austell, who has scored a team high seven goals so far this season, adding to her season total with a goal in Wednesday's win.

Austell, Makayla Myers, and Faith Joe lead the team with three assists a piece so far this year. McKenzie Calhoun and Sarah Wilkins both earned assists in the win over Southwestern.

Evangel will match up with Sterling for just the third time in program history, earning a win on the road last season, 2-0, with Ava Campbell and McKenzie Calhoun both scoring in the win.

Evangel travels to Wichita, Kan., on Wednesday (Oct. 22) night at 7:30 p.m., to take on the Friends Falcons.
