SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After moving to 3-0 on the year in a win over UHSP, Valor Men's Soccer returns home to host NCAA Division II Southwest Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 9) evening.

Evangel continued their winning streak last week, taking down the UHSP Eutectics, 6-0, on the road in St. Louis.

Eneh Chibozor, Akari Sydney, Igor Ovcarevic, Juyong Kim, Raphael Sende, and Franco Cuevas all scored a goal in the win against UHSP.

Igor Ovcarevic has been an exceptional passer for Evangel, leading the team with three assists so far this year.

Ryan Garner has yet to allow a goal this season, as the senior currently has 13 saves. Garner and Fernanado Villasenor combined for the shutout last week against UHSP.

Eneh Chibozor leads the Valor with four goals so far this season, scoring the first in their match against UHSP.

Evangel and Southwest Baptist have never matched up in program history, with Monday's match being the first between the Missouri schools.
