SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After defeating Kansas Wesleyan on the road last Saturday, 2-1, Valor Men's Soccer looks to continue to build on their historic season, traveling to Wichita, Kan., on Wednesday (Sept. 25) evening to take on the Friends Falcons.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Evangel defeated Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday, 2-1, recording the most wins in a single season of Evangel Men's Soccer history.

• Andrea Fincato has been on a tear lately for Evangel, scoring three goals and assisting on another three since Sept. 13th. Fincato leads the Valor with four assists so far this year.

• Caleb Kuchta and Juyong Kim both scored goal number three on their seasons in the win against Kansas Wesleyan.

• Ryan Garner has allowed just one goal so far this season, against NCAA Division II opponent Southwest Baptist. 

• Davide Marzoli stepped in and earned the win against Kansas Wesleyan, allowing just one goal that came on a penalty kick.

• Eneh Chibuzor leads the Valor with five goals so far this season.

• Evangel and Friends match up for the second time in school history, as both teams tied last season at Coryell Field, 0-0.

LOOKING AHEAD 

Valor Men's Soccer concludes their road travels on Saturday (Sept. 28) evening, taking on the Bethany Swedes in Lindsborg, Kansas at 7:30 p.m.
