SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After taking their first conference opening win in school history, Valor Men's Soccer hits the road to take on the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes on Saturday (Sept. 21) afternoon at 2:00 p.m.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel defeated Avila on Wednesday, 3-0, their first conference opening win in school history.

Andrea Fincato again was stellar for the Valor, scoring a goal and assisting on another in the win. Eneh Chibuzor and Rem Harmsworth also added goals in the win.

Igor Ovcarevic and Fincato have both been strong passers for Evangel, leading the team with three assists so far this year.

Ryan Garner has allowed just one goal so far this season, against NCAA Division II opponent Southwest Baptist.

Chibuzor leads the Valor with five goals so far this season.

Evangel and Kansas Wesleyan match up for the second time in school history, trailing the all-time matchup after falling last season, 0-1.
