WICHITA, Kan. – The KCAC announced the All-Conference Women's Soccer teams on Wednesday (Nov. 6) evening. For the second year in a row, Valor Women's Soccer earned three players on the list, as forward McKenzie Calhoun, midfielder Ava Campbell, and goalkeeper Rylee Clapp earned honorable mention recognition in the conference.
Valor sophomore McKenzie Calhoun earned her second consecutive honorable mention recognition, recording the most goals on the team this season with five, while also finishing with an assist. Calhoun was a major factor in the strong and historic season for the Valor, scoring a pair of game winners this season.
Valor junior Ava Campbell had another exceptional year in the midfield for Evangel. Campbell demonstrated her strong passing abilities, leading the team in assists with four, while also scoring the game winning goal against Sterling. Ava was the one of just three Valor athletes to start in all 17 games this season, showing her strong effort in the midfielder position.
Rounding out honorable mention honors was junior goalkeeper Rylee Clapp, who helped guide Evangel to their most shutouts in single season school history. Clapp started all 17 games, recording 93 saves in goal for just a 1.47 goals against average.
The Valor finished the season with a record of 8-7-3, their highest winning percentage since the 2020 season.
