Valor Men's Soccer Travels to Ottawa on Wednesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After falling on the road 0-2 to Sterling, Valor Men's Soccer looks to regroup for their final week of play, taking on the Ottawa Braves at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 30) afternoon.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Igor Ovcarevic currently leads Evangel in assists this year with five.

  • Ted Okoroh leads the Valor in minutes played this year, currently with 1,156.

  • Rem Harmsworth and Andrea Fincato have both been catalysts for Evangel offensively, leading the charge with six goals so far this season.

  • Ryan Garner has recorded 53 saves so far this year to lead the team.

  • If the season were to end today, Valor Men's Soccer would just miss out on the conference tournament, currently sitting at tenth in the conference.

  • Evangel and Ottawa match up for the second time in program history, with Evangel trailing 0-1 after falling 1-3 last season. 

LOOKING AHEAD 

Valor Men's Soccer returns home and honors their seniors on Saturday (Nov. 2) afternoon, hosting York at 2:30 p.m.
