SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel men's soccer team competes in their home opener on Thursday (Sept. 7) with a 6:00 p.m. non-conference match against the Ozark Christian College Ambassadors at Coryell Field.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Evangel was victorious in their previous match, last Wednesday afternoon against the Ecclesia Royals, 6-0.

• Ted Okoroh and Rem Harmsworth lead Evangel in goals, currently with three on the season.

• Okoroh leads the Valor in assists, currently with four this season.

• Igor Ovcarevic, Eneh Chibozor, Elias Lairmore, and Sebastian Molina have all recorded goals for the Valor this year.

• Evangel is currently averaging 5.5 goals per game.

• This will be Evangel's first match against Ozark Christian College all-time.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel competes against Ecclesia College next Monday (Sept. 11) evening at 6:00 p.m. at Coryell Field in Springfield, Missouri.
