SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After earning their first conference win of the season last Saturday, Valor Men's Soccer hits the road to take on the Tabor Bluejays in a primetime matchup at 8:00 p.m. in Hillsboro, Kansas on Saturday, September 30th.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Evangel defeated Bethany last Saturday in a dominant 4-0 victory at home.

• The Valor have scored 20 goals this season, compared to three goals by the opponents, which is the least amount of goals allowed in the nation so far this year.

• Ted Okoroh leads Evangel in goals and assists this season, currently with five in both categories. Okoroh is tied for 33rd in the nation in assists (5).

• Ten different athletes have recorded goals this season for Evangel.

• Evangel is currently averaging 2.86 goals per game, the fourth most in the KCAC.

• Anthony Morales had an exceptional past week for the Valor, being named the conference and national defender of the week for Men's Soccer.

• Evangel takes on Tabor for the first time in program history on Saturday.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel travels to Leavenworth, Kansas, next Wednesday (Oct. 4) evening to take on the Saint Mary Spires at 7:30 p.m.
