Valor Men's Soccer Honor Seniors, Host Ottawa on Wednesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After playing to a draw against a tough Sterling College team on Friday, Valor Men's Soccer hosts the Ottawa Braves at 7:30 p.m. for senior night festivities on Wednesday, October 25th.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Evangel and Sterling tied on Friday, 1-1, after a tough 90 minute battle.

  • The Valor have scored 24 goals this season, the second most in program history (30, 2016).

  • Ted Okoroh leads Evangel in goals and assists this season, currently with five and six, respectively.

  • Thirteen different athletes have recorded goals this season for Evangel.

  • Evangel is currently averaging 1.79 goals per game and are allowing just 1.00 goals per game, the best defensive mark in the conference.

  • Evangel and Ottawa compete in their first ever matchup all-time on Wednesday.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel hits the road to take on the York Panthers in their final game of the season at 2:30 p.m. in York, Neb.
