SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team returns home to honor their seniors on Friday (Oct. 20) afternoon at 3:15 p.m. as they face off with the Sterling College Warriors, looking to keep their postseason hopes alive. Senior day festivities will begin at approximately 2:50 p.m.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Evangel Women's Soccer fell on Wednesday, 2-1, against the Southwestern College Moundbuilders.

• Anna Crain leads the Valor in goals and assists, currently with nine and six, respectively, on the season. Her nine goals are tied for the sixth most in the KCAC.

• Chloe Hancock leads Evangel in saves, currently with 62 on the year.
• The Valor look to keep their postseason hopes alive, as they currently have 11 points in conference play, currently sitting at 10th overall.

• 11 Valor athletes have scored goals this season.

• Evangel and Sterling will match up in their first ever matchup between both teams on Friday.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel Women's Soccer plays in their final home match of the season on Wednesday (Oct. 25) evening, taking on the Ottawa Braves at Coryell Field.
