DES MOINES, Iowa – Will Curtis scored two of Grand View's four goals in the first 26 minutes of Saturday evening's Heart of America Athletic Conference contest, as the Vikings cruised to a 6-0 victory over the Evangel men's soccer team at Cownie Sports Complex.
Curtis scored the go-ahead goal on a feed from Gavin Nevshemal just five-and-a-half minutes into the contest, then tallied a second goal just two minutes later to make it a 2-0 game.
GVU added goals by Philipp Amann and Jacob Gutierrez later in the opening period to build a 4-0 advantage by halftime. Amann and Joao Almeida scored in the second half for the Vikings to account for the final margin.

- Nevshemal assisted on each of Curtis's goals, in addition to Amann's second goal in the 67nd minute to finish with three assists
- Grand View held Evangel to just four shots for the night and out-shot the Valor 12-0 in the second half
